Overview

About the project

Running an equestrian competition involves a surprising amount of administration: collecting entries for each class, taking entry fees, checking eligibility, producing start orders and publishing results promptly.

SIDDs Infotech built an all-in-one platform that moves this process online — giving riders a simple way to enter and pay, and giving organisers the tools to manage participants, generate start orders and publish results.

The challenge

  • Entries arrive by form, email and phone, and are re-typed into spreadsheets.
  • Entry fees are collected through separate channels and reconciled by hand.
  • Start orders are prepared manually for each class, which is slow and error-prone.
  • Riders and spectators wait for results to be posted.

Features

What the platform does.

  • Online registration and entries

Riders register once and submit entries for the classes they want to compete in.

  • Secure online payments

Entry fees are paid online during submission, so organisers don't chase payments.

  • Automated start order generation

Start orders are generated automatically from confirmed entries.

  • Organiser dashboard

Events, entries, riders, horses, schedules, start lists, payments and communications managed from one console, with entries by class at a glance.

  • Rider and horse profiles

Riders keep their profile and registered horses in one place, ready to enter future classes.

  • Results publishing

Results are published online for participants to view as the competition progresses.
